Hyundai Staria TAXI
Hyundai's 2021 one-box van with a single-curve profile and a taxi version that replaced Seoul's Starex cabs.
About the car
The Hyundai Staria was introduced in 2021 as the successor to the Starex, built at Hyundai's Ulsan plant. It uses a one-box body with a single curved line from bonnet to roof, full-width front LED lighting and low side windows, on a platform shared with the Kia Carnival. Engines are a 2.2-litre CRDi turbo-diesel of 177 PS or a 3.5-litre V6 running on petrol or LPG, with front- or all-wheel drive. It is sold as a passenger van with seven to eleven seats and as a cargo van. A dedicated taxi version with a roof light, LPG engine and durable interior is used by taxi operators in South Korea.
