Hyundai Casper Butter Cream Yellow Pearl
Hyundai's smallest SUV, built by a separate company in Gwangju and the first new Korean light car in years.
About the car
The Casper went on sale in Korea in September 2021 as Hyundai's entry-level crossover, sized to Korea's light car class at 3,595 mm long. It is built not by Hyundai itself but by Gwangju Global Motors, a joint venture between Hyundai and the city of Gwangju set up to create local jobs, and is the first new Korean light car since the Kia Ray of 2011. Power comes from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, and the front passenger seat folds flat. The name comes from the casper skateboard trick. A Casper Electric with a longer body followed in 2024 and is sold in Europe as the Inster.
