About the car
The 770S is the top version of Scania's S-series, the flat-floor flagship cab introduced in 2016 as part of the Next Generation Scania range. Its 16.4-litre DC16 V8, launched in 2020, produces 770 hp and 3,700 Nm, the highest output of any series-produced European truck engine, through the 14-speed Opticruise automated gearbox. The B8x4NA designation describes a rigid chassis with four axles, two of them driven, and normal ride height. A hooklift body lets the driver load and unload demountable flatbeds and containers from the cab, a configuration used by construction, waste and plant-hire operators.
