About the car

The fourth-generation Toyota Vellfire, chassis code 40, went on sale in Japan in June 2023 alongside the Alphard. It is built on the TNGA-K platform with a 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder or a 2.5-litre hybrid, and the Vellfire is positioned as the sportier of the two minivans with its own front styling. KUHL Racing, a custom shop based in Nagoya, builds complete demo cars with its own body kits, lowered suspension and large-diameter wheels, and shows them at the Tokyo Auto Salon and Osaka Auto Messe. Its Vellfire 40 kit adds a deeper front bumper, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a roof spoiler.
