About the car

The AMR24 was Aston Martin Aramco's Formula One car for the 2024 season, driven by Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. It was the team's first car developed entirely in its new AMR Technology Campus at Silverstone, powered by the Mercedes-AMG F1 M15 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 hybrid and using Mercedes gearbox and rear suspension components. The car scored points regularly in the first half of the season but did not reach the podium; Alonso's best finishes were fifth places in Saudi Arabia and China. Aston Martin finished fifth in the Constructors' Championship with 94 points. The AMR24 was the last Aston Martin designed before Adrian Newey joined the team.
